The charming family business is embedded in the hotel's own vineyards and orchards and vegetable gardens in the middle of the beautiful Wachau.
Dürnstein with the famous ruins and the monastery can be reached after approx. 900m. The Wachau was declared a UNESCO World Cultural and Natural Heritage Site in 2000. The Melk and Göttweig monasteries as well as the old town of Krems are among the cultural highlights of the region. The best way to explore the Wachau is by bike and enjoy the picturesque landscape along the Danube on one of the numerous cycle paths. On a leisurely boat trip, the most comfortable way to travel around the Wachau, you can experience the entire beauty of the region from the water. The Welterbesteig Wachau is a 180km long-distance hiking trail and leads along the most beautiful hiking trails through the Danube valley and the Wachau wine landscape.
Facilities
The family-run Wachauer Wellnessjuwel welcomes you with an inviting bar area, a lounge and library, the romantic and wine bar, an event hall and a lift. In the stylish restaurant (closed on Sundays) with a large sun terrace and new Salettl, you will be treated to fresh, regional and seasonal products, some of which come from the hotel's own vegetable and fruit gardens. Excellent wines from the well-stocked wine list are also offered. Parking/garage spaces and WiFi throughout the hotel included in the price.
Payable locally: dog EUR 20,- per night. Local tax EUR 2.50 per person/night.
Rooms
The 54 timeless country house rooms, including 23 gourmet rooms, are divided between the new building and the main building wing. All rooms have a bath or shower/toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe, telephone, satellite TV, minibar (only in the new building), safe, Wi-Fi and most have a balcony.
DK (2-3): Federspiel double room, approx. 22m², in the main building/old building, south-facing, some with balcony, minibar on request.
DU (2-3): Superior double room Smaragd, approx. 40m², south-facing in the new building, large balcony with a view of the Danube, air conditioning using cooling ceilings.
EK (1-1): Federspiel single room, no balcony.
EU (1-1): Single room Emerald.

Rich gourmet breakfast from the buffet.
When booking half board, 4-course menu in the evening (half board is not possible on Sundays due to a closed day).
