The H₂O Hotel-Therme-Resort is located on the outskirts of Bad Waltersdorf in an optimal location not far from the A2 and only approx. 35 minutes from Graz and 1,5 hours from Vienna. Regardless of whether the passion is cycling, hiking, running, walking or golfing: rolling hills, vineyards, meadows and forests shape the landscape and invite you to exercise in nature.
Facilities
This popular family hotel welcomes you at the reception desk with a friendly lobby area. Overlooking the thermal pools and featuring an adjoining games area, the hotel bar is the heart of the resort and invites the whole family to linger. The spacious hotel restaurant offers each guest a private table for their entire stay. Dining options include the hotel bar, the arena bar, the snack bar (in summer), the pool bar, the family restaurant, the hotel restaurant, and the thermal spa restaurant. The hotel also features air-conditioned seminar rooms, a SMATRICS charging station and three on-site charging stations for electric cars (subject to a charge), as well as a large, free parking lot directly in front of the hotel. Pets are not allowed. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel.
Payable on site: Local tax of EUR 2.50 per person/night for guests aged 15 and over.
Rooms
The rooms, some of which have been completely redesigned, enchant with their inviting, natural ambiance and lovingly designed interiors. Earthy colors, blended with high-quality wood and feather-soft fabrics, will help you forget the stress of everyday life from the moment you arrive. Each room features a bathroom with shower/WC, hairdryer, a spa bag with a loaner bathrobe and towel, air conditioning (in summer), a flat-screen TV with a USB port, a safe, and Wi-Fi. The design, furnishings, and functionality were specifically designed with the needs of families in mind.
DC (2-3): Basic double room with a fixed extra bed, approx. 20m²
DK (2-3): Premium double room with a fold-down bed and a mini-fridge, approx. 20m²
DF (4-4): Basic family room, approx. 40m², consisting of two rooms with a connecting door (1 double bed, 1 twin bed) and a mini-fridge.
Meals

Thermal Bath
A connecting corridor takes you from the hotel directly to the children's thermal baths. Entry is included in the room price from 9 a.m. on the day of arrival to 11 a.m. on the day of departure; the rooms are available from 3 p.m. on the day of arrival. The child-free sauna area (from 15 years) with several saunas, aromatic steam bath, tepidarium, infrared cabin, thermal pool and over 5,000m² of sauna garden can be used for an additional charge.
The H₂O children's thermal bath is the fun resort with a particularly great fun factor - especially for families and children! Over 30,000m² of water and adventure area indoors and outdoors, numerous water attractions such as wave pools with Acapulco Beach, lazy river, champagne loungers and massage jets but also spectacular slides, including the mega-wide double tire slide “Blue Lightning” with a length of 100m and the fast turbo slide “ H₂O-Speedy” with touch points promise endless fun. Enjoy colorful cocktail creations in the Hot Spring Pool Bar or relax in the gemstone whirlpool and star pool. The little ones can have fun in the sun-drenched HopiHo water play garden, in the clown pool or in the baby pool. While sports enthusiasts stretch out in the refreshing sports pool, sun seekers make themselves comfortable on the well-kept lawn. A connecting corridor takes you to the H₂O Arena, an extended relaxation area with 1,400m² of sunbathing area.
Spa Treatments
For a fee: the spa massage and cosmetics world invites you to relax and enjoy with its diverse program. The offer ranges from professional classic and special massages, fragrant body peelings and packs to cosmetic treatments and manicures and pedicures. The well-being of the little ones is also taken care of with special baby and children's massages. Massages for the expectant mother also invite you to relax.
Children
There's always something going on! At HopiHo Play World, children experience a new adventure every day. The action park and the play world are just a few of the highlights of the children's hotel. The trained H₂O animation team entertains young and old daily with plenty of action, games, and water fun. Next to the hotel is a large outdoor children's playground and a climbing course. So that parents can also have some time for themselves, free childcare is offered daily for children ages 3 and up. In the lobby, the game corner with air hockey, pool tables, and much more provides fun and entertainment for all ages.
