Embedded in the impressive mountain landscape of East Tyrol, the car-free resort makes every athlete's heart beat faster. The alpine lifestyle resort in timber construction is nestled on the slope above the village of Kals - with a panoramic view of the Großglockner, the highest mountain in Austria and is located at the gateway to the Hohe Tauern National Park.
Whether it's a leisurely walk through the valley, a long hike across country or a summit ascent - the Kalsertal and its surroundings are a hiker's paradise for young and old. Numerous managed huts offer a welcome stop on the 250km long hiking network in the Hohe Tauern National Park, which in addition to a unique Plant and animal life also through its cultural heritage, which surprises and inspires hikers again and again. Kals is also known as a climbing paradise - the Schober group alone attracts with a mountain landscape that is unrivaled with its numerous lakes and diverse climbing tours.

The à la carte gourmet restaurant in the hotel awaits you with regional specialties, characterized by Mediterranean influence and combined with international ingredients with a unique panoramic view. At the hotel bar with terrace you can end the evening comfortably with a good glass of wine from the hotel's own wine cellar. In the delicatessen and the shop directly in the resort you can get everything you need every day - including East Tyrolean specialties. The 700m² natural swimming pond with a jetty and lawn in the garden invites you to linger and relax.

Chalets
The 38 chalets are characterized by a mixture of tradition and modernity, an extra dose of luxury and their own small wellness area.
All Châlets were built with local spruce and have a spacious living area with tiled stove, bathroom with shower/toilet, hair dryer and bathrobe for hire, a kitchen with dishwasher, espresso machine, refrigerator, microwave and kettle, washing machine and dryer as well as radio, satellite TV and safe , WLAN and balcony or terrace. Large glass elements bring nature directly into the living room.
XC (2-4): Châlet Klassik, approx. 85m², 2 double rooms, living area with kitchen and infrared cabin.
XE (5-6): Châlet Klassik, approx. 105m², 3 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, living area with kitchen and infrared cabin.
XG (7-8): Châlet Klassik, approx. 120m², 4 double rooms, 2 bathrooms, living area with kitchen and infrared cabin.
XV (4-4): Châlet Superior, approx. 100m², 2 double rooms, living area with kitchen, infrared cabin and Finnish sauna with relaxation zone.
XW (5-6): Châlet Superior, approx. 120m², 3 double rooms, living area with kitchen, infrared cabin and Finnish sauna with relaxation zone.
XY (6-8): Châlet Deluxe, approx. 250m², 3 double rooms, each with its own bathroom, closet space and spacious wardrobe, exclusively equipped eat-in kitchen with spacious living and lounge area on 2 levels, private spa with deep heat cabin and sauna, own washroom with washing machine .
Final cleaning, electricity, water, heating, bed linen, towels and kitchen starter package as well as a small breakfast basket every day directly to the Châlet included.
Meals
Small breakfast basket delivered directly to the châlet included every day. Breakfast or dinner can be booked in the hotel restaurant for an additional charge.
Activities
Daily sports and activity program in the hotel with yoga, guided hikes and bike tours, bouldering room and outdoor climbing wall.

Bike
The Gradonna Resort is the perfect starting point for mountain bike and bicycle tours. There are numerous e-bike and mountain bike trails in the region. A special highlight is the view of the Grossglockner while it's going downhill rapidly.
Start the day with a hearty athlete's breakfast before exploring the area on your bike. The resort has a lockable bike room, a washing area with a hose and brushes, bike racks and an information corner with bike/bike maps of the region, weather information, timetables and opening times for public transport and cable cars, specialist magazines and a list of bike schools and guides.

Holiday with your Dog
Your dog is very welcome at the Gradonna Chalet Resort. In the chalet you will find a dog welcome box with a fluffy dog towel as well as information and route descriptions. Your own designated lying area is the perfect retreat for you and your dog. There are designated walkways and hiking trails around the resort that are ideal for long leashes. Dogs are not allowed in the restaurant and wellness area.
