This bike path really has a lot to offer: the sporting experience, culture and history make your holiday an unforgettable experience. Our seven-day tour takes you through parts of the Salzkammergut and to the Mozart city of Salzburg.
You will be accommodated in 3* inns and 4* hotels. The comfortably furnished rooms have a bath or shower/toilet, TV and mostly internet/WLAN.

Tour Description
Day 1:
Individual arrival in Salzburg.
Handover of the documents and the bikes (if booked through Salzkammergut Touristik) at the hotel in Salzburg. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 2:
Salzburg-Thalgau. Daily stage: approx. 23 km, ascent/descent: 273 / 142 m
We recommend doing a city tour in Salzburg in the morning. In the afternoon you start cycling along the former Ischler Bahnstraße in the direction of Eugendorf to Thalgau. Overnight in Thalgau.
Day 3:
Thalgau-Bad Ischl. Daily stage: approx. 43 km, ascent/descent : 315/386 m
From Thalgau through the forest to St. Lorenz am Mondsee - over the Scharfling to Lake Wolfgang (short climb over the Scharfling pass) - on the lakeside cycle path to Strobl - via Lindau to Ischl. Overnight stay in Bad Ischl.
Day 4:
Bad Ischl-Mondsee. Daily stage: approx. 38 km, ascent/descent: 289/269 m
The cycle path begins in Bad Ischl, leads via Pfandl - Radau to St. Wolfgang - by boat from St. Wolfgang to the Mozart village of St. Gilgen - again over the Scharfling, past the Krottensee - on to the Mondsee. Drive along the lake shore to St. Lorenz and on to Mondsee. Overnight in Mondsee.
Day 5:
Mondsee-Seekirchen. Daily stage: approx. 37 km, ascent/descent : 355/338 m
Tip: Visit the Rauchhaus and the farmer's museum in Mondsee and take a trip into the past in this open-air museum! From Mondsee along the cycle path to Irrsee - on the left bank the path leads to the end of the lake to Oberhofen - junction to Neumarkt - around the Wallersee to Seekirchen. Overnight at the Wallersee.
Day 6:
Wallersee-Seeham. Daily stage: approx. 34 km, ascent/descent: 315/313 m
From Wallersee via Köstendorf to Schleedorf. Continue to Mattsee - Obertrumersee / Mattsee Runde - to Seeham. Overnight stay at Obertrumer See.
Day 7:
Seeham-Salzburg. Daily stage: approx. 34 km, ascent/descent: 289/389 m
From Seeham via Nussdorf to Oberndorf - Silent Night Chapel - along the Salzach on the Mozart Cycle Path via Anthering to Salzburg. Overnight in Salzburg.
Day 8:
Individual departure or extra nights.
General information
The bike tours are not difficult technically; there are only a few inclines! However, some physical fitness and the will to persevere are prerequisites, as well as cycling equipment such as closed sneakers, backpack, sun and rain protection, functional clothing, jacket and sweater, etc. The routes are easy to ride with trekking bikes, they mostly lead on paved bike paths, a few routes also on gravel roads and forest paths. If you want to spend a day more quietly, you can of course cover part of the route by public transport such as trains or boats.
