The hotel is your pleasant base camp for exciting forays through the Großes Walsertal. 230km of marked hiking trails, well maintained and signposted according to the Vorarlberg hiking trail concept, varied high-altitude trails, 46 alpine pastures, most of which have refreshment stops, climbing opportunities and themed trails leave nothing to be desired. The natural and mountain landscape of the Großes Walsertal also offers you the perfect backdrop for a trip on your mountain bike or e-bike. From leisurely pleasure routes to challenging tours, everything is there. With untouched landscapes, hidden gorges, wild streams and beautiful alpine meadows, you will find your way back to nature and back to the essentials in the Großes Walsertal.

Payable on site: Garage parking subject to availability: approx. EUR 10,- per night. Dogs on request (only permitted in the mountain suites): EUR 20,- per night. Local tax: EUR 3,- per person/night for guests aged 14 and over.
Rooms
The 38 rooms and suites are equipped with solid wood furniture, oversized beds (2.10 meters), a bathroom with bathtub or shower/toilet, hairdryer, telephone, radio, flat-screen TV, safe, minibar, WiFi and balcony as well as a wellness bag with a loaner bathrobe. Simple naturalness with limed oak floorboards, local silver fir wood, real, warm wool and natural colors convey a feeling of security and a feel-good atmosphere. The unique view of the vastness of the valley and the 7 Walser mountain peaks frees you and opens your mind and heart.

Meals
"Das Schäfer" board: regional gourmet breakfast buffet with smoothies, fragrant bread, homemade jams, honey from the honeycomb and real Walserstolz mountain cheese, in the afternoon from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. Walser Jause (also on the day of arrival) with hearty snacks, fresh salad and oven-fresh strudel, in the evening 6-course gourmet menu - Austrian, regional, fresh, light & vital - including Vorarlberg cheese specialties to finish. Vegetarian alternatives are offered for all meals (no vegan cuisine!).
The dishes are prepared using mainly sustainably produced food from the region and herbs from the parish garden.
