The ESPLANADE - Ensana Health Spa Hotel is located in the middle of a beautiful green park on the Piešťany Spa Island – a historic spa town with more than 100 years of spa tradition.
Piešťany has an excellent position in western Slovakia, not far from Bratislava and about a two-hour drive from Vienna. The second largest river in Slovakia separates the scenic Spa Island with water lily ponds and peacocks from the city. There are a total of four Ensana Spa Hotels on the island, plus two more in the city center, all dedicated to your health and well-being. You can reach the historic city center with nice restaurants, cafés and small shops within a few minutes' walk via the covered colonnade bridge. There are many sporting and cultural opportunities for active guests, including golf and tennis facilities and a music pavilion right on the Spa Island, and there are many other interesting places in the vicinity that are worth visiting.

The ESPLANADE - Ensana Health Spa Hotel offers everything you would expect from a modern 4* hotel. As soon as you arrive, you will be amazed by the splendor of the hotel. Not only has the inviting lobby been designed to be particularly spacious, but the many corridors, rooms, restaurants and common areas also offer an extremely attractive range of space. Several restaurants, which also offer à la carte meals, await you with a selection of international, regional and balanced dishes as well as a great view of the spa island or the inner courtyard garden. The Park Café serves light meals and coffee specialties and homemade pastries during the day - in summer also on the beautiful sun terrace, and in the evenings you can enjoy a variety of delicacies here with the sounds of the piano or live music. Night owls will get their money's worth in the Retro Bar with dance floor and music. For events, there are 10 conference and event rooms in the hotel and a congress center on the island with direct access. WiFi is free in all areas.

All 460 rooms and suites offer a fantastic view of the natural landscape of the spa island and have a bathroom with bathtub or shower, toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe rental, some with air conditioning, telephone, LED TV, minibar (filled only on request), safe, WiFi and most with a balcony.

The hotel's pool and wellness area awaits you with swimming pools open all year round, including an indoor relaxation pool (30-33°C) and a 25m outdoor relaxation pool - both with a whirlpool and other water attractions. The Balnea Health Spa, which is directly connected to the Esplanade and Splendid hotels, offers the most modern and largest center for balneotherapy and rehabilitation in Central Europe with a total area of 7,000m² and is also considered the best spa facility in the entire Slovakia. Expert medical staff utilize the healing power of natural, local resources such as thermal waters and sulfur healing mud in combination with state-of-the-art Western medicine, modern diagnostics, preventative therapies and innovative lifestyle medicine to achieve an integrative approach to strengthening and healing the body, particularly on the muscular and bone diseases.
The complex consists of a total of 3 pavilions as well as various thermal and therapy pools, a fitness pool with aqua bikes, a relaxation pool, a well-equipped beauty salon, a modern fitness center with high-quality equipment and a center for rehabilitation and occupational therapy.
In addition to this impressive equipment, the Balnea Health Spa also offers medical care at the highest level. One focus is the treatment of rheumatism and other musculoskeletal diseases. This excellent quality of service is based on the extensive experience of our medical and therapeutic staff, who successfully carry out over a million treatments every year.
The treatment in the Piestany spa is particularly suitable for diseases of the musculoskeletal system and nerve diseases such as: rheumatoid arthritis and its variants, spinal pain and degenerative joint diseases, rehabilitation after accidents or operations on the musculoskeletal system or intervertebral disc operations, scoliosis, rheumatism, Bechterow's disease, Rehabilitation after injuries and operations of the nervous system, multiple sclerosis and Parkinson's disease.
