The Explorer Hotel Hinterstoder is located at the valley station of the Hinterstoder cable car. Surrounded by the impressive mountain peaks of the Dead Mountains, the hotel is the ideal starting point for an active summer holiday.
With over 600km of marked hiking trails, the entire Pyhrn-Priel holiday region is a real treat for hikers and trail runners. Worthwhile destinations await all those who like to ride mountain bikes, racing bikes and e-bikes or downhillers in the Pyhrn-Priel sports arena. Whether mountains, passes, trails or pleasure bike paths - there is something for everyone with different levels of difficulty.

The center of the trendy passive house hotel is the spacious Explorer Lounge with seating areas, breakfast area, cozy bar and the Explorer Wall - interactive touchscreens with information about the region. The hotel also has a workbench with tools for getting sports equipment ready, sports lockers, a bike washing area, elevator and 2 conference rooms as well as charging stations for electric cars (for a fee). WiFi is available free of charge.
