With the four large ski areas Hochzillertal-Hochfügen-Spieljoch, Zillertal Arena, Mayrhofner Bergbahnen and the Ski & Gletscherwelt Zillertal 3000, the Zillertal is one of the largest ski valleys in the world. 515 kilometers of pistes, 179 state-of-the-art cable cars and lifts that take you quickly and comfortably from 580m to 3,250m above sea level, numerous runs in all levels of difficulty - from demanding, sporty slopes and untracked deep snow slopes to sunny, wide carving slopes for families and beginners and connoisseurs offer the right challenge for every taste. But that's not all: snowboard fun parks, permanent racing and speed runs, ski kindergartens as well as cozy ski huts and beautifully situated mountain restaurants with sun terraces simply inspire all winter sports enthusiasts.
The Hochzillertal-Kaltenbach ski area with over 80 kilometers of pistes, two valley runs and a snow park is only a stone's throw away from the hotel and can be reached quickly and easily with the free ski bus, which stops about 50m from the hotel. The Hintertux Glacier ski area is only half an hour away from the hotel. It doesn't matter whether it's winter or summer, the groomed slopes ensure skiing fun 365 days a year.
Nature lovers get their money's worth on a carriage ride, cross-country skiing, snowshoeing or winter hiking through the snowy Zillertal winter landscape. Action-hungry people can sled down the toboggan runs or admire the Zillertal from above while paragliding.
