After extensive redesign of the rooms, the restaurant and the spa area, the hotel shines in new splendor from summer 2023. With lots of wood and glass, a sophisticated lighting concept and great attention to detail, the extraordinary hotel blends seamlessly into the enchanting landscape.
In addition to modern architecture and exclusive design, a spacious lobby area with reception, several lounges, a stylish hotel bar with fireplace lounge and a modern conference and event area await you in the hotel. Based on the active focus of the hotel, exquisite cuisine with Carinthian roots and Mediterranean influences meets healthy recipes and real power food in the newly designed panorama restaurant with an open fireplace. A heated ski depot, several lifts, free parking spaces and e-charging stations (for a fee) complete the offer. WiFi is available throughout the hotel free of charge.

Rooms
The 140 newly designed, spacious rooms and suites are a retreat with a special charm. They are stylishly furnished and have an exclusive bathroom with shower or bathtub, toilet, hair dryer, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe, WiFi and balcony as well as a bathing bag with bathrobe, bath towel and bathing shoes for the duration of your stay.
DU (2-3): Superior double room with village view, approx. 32m² with a view of the village.
DD (2-3): Deluxe double room mountain view, approx. 32m² with mountain view.
JU (2-4): Junior Suite Village View, approx. 47m², living and sleeping area separated by a sliding door, seating area and view of the village.

Meals
Half board plus: extensive breakfast buffet, late riser breakfast from 10 a.m. to 11 a.m. at the hotel bar, active lunch/afternoon table from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. with salads, spoon dishes and sweet corners, 6-course menu of choice in the evening - partly from the buffet. Weekly theme evening with Carinthian and Mediterranean cuisine and more. Christmas menu included.
A wide selection of gluten- and lactose-free products as well as vegan and vegetarian options are available on request and pre-order.

Winter fun
Amazingly spacious, expansive, literally guaranteed snow and hard to beat when it comes to the mountain panorama. Anyone who comes to Nassfeld, one of the TOP 10 ski areas in Austria, can expect a lot. 110 kilometers of perfectly groomed slopes, 30 state-of-the-art lifts and the longest floodlit slope in the Alps make every skier and snowboarder's heart beat faster. There is also a snow park and a SkiMovie race track. Numerous rustic huts and culinary delicacies ensure that extra plus of enjoyment on the mountain.
The Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Carinzia is located directly at the valley station of the Millennium Express gondola, the feeder to the Nassfeld ski arena. The entrance to the nearest cross-country ski trail is only 300m away when there is good snow. The hotel has its own ski and snowboard rental service.
In addition to fun and action on the slopes, you can also enjoy winter on Nassfeld in a gentler way, including on leisurely snowshoe hikes, on cross-country skis, tobogganing or pirouettes on huge natural ice surfaces. Let yourself be enchanted by the Nassfeld winter landscape and enjoy a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride under a warm blanket.

The newly designed Acquapura SPA Via Carnica is the perfect place to give life new energy. In the 2,400m² wellness and well-being world "Acquapura SPA" you can expect a spacious indoor pool and year-round heated outdoor pool including a 25m swimming lane (with swimwear), a pool of the senses and outdoor whirlpool (without swimwear), a spacious sauna area (from 16 years) with Finnish panoramic outdoor sauna and staged infusions, Gailtal pine sauna, brine steam bath, infrared cabin, ice fountain and Kneipp treading pool, a large newly equipped high-tech fitness room with yoga & meditation room as well as spacious rest areas and a panoramic relaxation room.
For a fee: cosmetic and massage treatments, baths, wraps and peelings, private SPA suites for two.
Children
Children's area (without supervision), children's pool in the wellness area, separate children's menu in the restaurant, baby equipment (baby monitor, baby beds, high chair in the restaurant) on request and subject to availability.

Holiday with your Dog
Dogs are welcome guests at the Falkensteiner Hotel & Spa Carinzia. On arrival, your darling will receive an arrival package with treats and chew bones. A dog blanket, towel, food bowl and scarf are available in the room for your four-legged friend. You can get tips for walks at reception.
