The Hotel Alpenhof impresses with its quiet and sunny location at the entrance to St. Jakob.
The Defereggental, one of the three East Tyrolean high mountain valleys, is located in the middle of the Hohe Tauern National Park, surrounded by almost untouched nature. A summer holiday in the Defereggental is extremely popular with families and nature lovers, who get their money's worth here. A wide variety of themed hiking trails, leisurely walks or the varied routes of the alpine region are enthusiastically accepted. Not to mention the high tours in the world of the three-thousanders. The Defereggen Valley is notorious for a number of mountain bike routes that are also a tough challenge for professionals. If you don't like the strenuous climbs by bike, you can and should choose the gently curving paths along babbling brooks. Families in particular appreciate the St. Jakob - Erlsbach cycle path above all, as it also leads past a playground.

Away from mass tourism, the family-friendly hotel invites you to relax with a wide range of offers. A spacious lobby with a bar by the open fireplace, a panoramic winter garden and a sun terrace await you in a charming ambience. In the 3 restaurant areas with the pine parlor and Tyrolean parlor, you will be served culinary delights from Austrian and Italian specialties. The 84 modern rooms offer the highest level of comfort and a breathtaking view of the three-thousand-meter peaks of the Defereggental. All rooms are equipped with a bathroom with bathtub/toilet, hairdryer, satellite TV, safe, mini fridge, WiFi and seating area, as well as a wellness kit with a loaner bathrobe, towel and slippers for the duration of your stay.

Charme All Inclusive: generous Austrian breakfast buffet with organic corner, cakes and cold and warm snacks from the buffet in the afternoon from 2:30 p.m. to 5 p.m., cold starters, soups and salads from the buffet in the evening, choice of menu or themed buffet. Drinks (soft drinks, draft beer, red or white wine, water, house schnapps, selection of long drinks, various types of tea, cafeteria with coffee, espresso, cappuccino and cocoa) included according to the Charme All Inclusive menu from 12 p.m. to 10 p.m. Gluten-free, vegetarian and lactose-free meals on request.
