Nestled between Portorož and Piran and surrounded by oleanders, palm trees, rosemary bushes and the endless blue of the sea, the holiday resort of St. Bernardin Resort Portorož has its own marina and the completely renovated Hotel Histrion, the largest hotel on the Slovenian coast. The Hotel Histrion is located directly on the beautiful beach promenade. Just a few steps away is the resort's own beach area (open from around mid-June to mid-September) with a sunbathing lawn, bathing plateaus and a bar as well as loungers and parasols for hire. The center of Portorož can be reached after approx. 1.5km, the romantic town of Piran is approx. 2km away. It's around a 10-minute walk to the next bus stop.
Portorož and Piran offer more than just beach holidays. Let yourself be pampered by local hospitality and experience what the surroundings have to offer with all your senses. Explore the medieval center of Piran with its historical sights or take a trip to the Akaran Shell Cemetery. The Secovlje Nature Park with its salt pans, which are over 700 years old, is also worth a visit. Relaxed along the coast or determinedly uphill - numerous marked cycle paths offer everything from easy trips for the whole family to challenging tours for experienced cyclists.

Unique experiences await you in the fully air-conditioned Hotel Histrion, which reflects the stories of magical Istria through elements of the sea, Piran salt, lavender and olive trees. As soon as you enter the spacious, light-flooded hotel lobby, you will be put in a holiday mood. Traditional architecture, typical Istrian shutters, regional materials and scents accompany you throughout the entire hotel.
Culinary options include a choice of several restaurants. The hotel restaurant in a modern ambience spoils you daily with regional delicacies and international dishes from the buffet as part of half board. Lovers of Italian cuisine will get their money's worth in the à la carte Taverna restaurant by the marina with a winter garden and large terrace. The Moon Restaurant, decorated in warm earth tones, serves typical Istrian delicacies à la carte accompanied by the sunset and the sound of the sea. In the Café Istriana you can relax comfortably with an afternoon tea or a glass of wine - on the quiet terrace when the weather is nice. The Termaris Bar in the Termaris seawater park with a terrace by the sea offers snacks and refreshing drinks. The hotel also has two conference rooms, a souvenir shop, elevator and free WiFi as well as free parking and a charging station for electric cars (fees apply) in the resort.

Wellness
From the hotel you have direct access to the Termaris seawater park, the largest swimming pool complex with heated seawater on the Slovenian coast. On 2,400m² you will find swimming, relaxation and children's pools with heated seawater and the most beautiful view of the Slovenian Sea. The seawater park is divided into two zones and is suitable for everyone who wants to relax in peace or have fun in the water. On the quieter side, a swimming pool and a pleasantly warm whirlpool invite you to relax. On the other side you can swim in the large swimming pool, which is surrounded by a children's pool with fun water attractions. An adventure pool with a whitewater channel and bubbles as well as water slides ensure fun and action for young and old. In summer, the seasonal outdoor pool in the neighboring hotel can also be used. For an additional charge, you can use a sauna area with a Finnish panoramic sauna, Turkish sauna, infrared sauna, herbal, dry and bio sauna, a salt room and an Istrian hammam.
Spa Treatments
For a fee: the clean and rich sea air, the sun and local ingredients such as sea salt, salt mud, salt water, olive oil, lavender and other Istrian herbs form the basis for traditional treatments for relaxation, regeneration and recovery. The hotel is directly connected to the Benedicta wellness center, where you can choose between thalasso rituals with massages, peelings and wraps, soothing massages, including classic, aromatic oil, therapeutic and energy massages, as well as facial and anti-aging treatments. During your relaxation and beauty treatment, you will be accompanied by unique views of the endless blue of the sea! Trained masseurs and beauty experts will be happy to advise you. There is also a manicure and pedicure salon right in the hotel.
