The Schneeberghof is located at the foot of the wildly romantic 2,075m high Schneeberg, the highest peak in Lower Austria, about 80km from Vienna.
Puchberg am Schneeberg has been a health resort since ancient times. The excellent air quality, the very special, high-altitude stimulating climate and the bioclimate contribute to relaxation and promote health.
Sport, fun and relaxation can be combined in Puchberg at any time of the year. In summer you can complement your wellness holiday with extensive hikes through the wonderful natural idyll of the Schneeberg. With more than 80km of hiking trails and alpine climbs, Puchberg is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Lower Austria. You can also pursue the trend sport of Nordic walking undisturbed here. Whether by bike, mountain bike or e-bike - around the Schneeberg numerous bike tours are waiting to be explored. We recommend a trip with the Schneebergbahn or the traditional nostalgic steam train (on Sundays and public holidays in July and August) to the sunny plateau of the Schneeberg. Already during the journey you will be impressed by the beautiful surroundings.
