The traditional Schneeberghof is located at the foot of the wildly romantic 2,075 m high Schneeberg, the highest peak in Lower Austria, about 80 km from Vienna.
Puchberg am Schneeberg has been considered a climatic health resort since ancient times. The excellent air quality, the very special, altitude-related stimulating climate and the bioclimate contribute to relaxation and promote health.
In Puchberg, sport, fun and relaxation can be combined in every season. In summer, you can complement your wellness holiday with extensive hikes through the wonderful natural idyll of the Schneeberg. With more than 80 km of hiking trails and alpine climbs, Puchberg is one of the most beautiful hiking areas in Lower Austria. Whether by bike, mountain bike or e-bike - there are numerous bike tours around the Schneeberg waiting to be explored. The hotel has an I-Bike box and thus offers the opportunity to rent up-to-date e-mountain bikes. We recommend a ride on the Schneebergbahn or the traditional steam nostalgic train (on Sundays and public holidays in July and August) to the sunny plateau of the Schneeberg. Even during the ride you will be impressed by the beautiful surroundings.

The hotel bar by the open fireplace in the middle of the cozy hotel lobby and the tennis café are convivial meeting places for cozy small talk, a coffee break or to end the day. 5 modern seminar rooms, a covered and lockable bicycle parking space, elevator, an e-charging station (for a fee) and free parking/garage spaces round off the offer. WiFi is free in the lobby and in the room.

The 70 rooms in a friendly, modern design present themselves as cozy retreats for connoisseurs, romantics and active people. Each room is furnished with great attention to detail and has fine natural materials, a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, loaner bathrobe and slippers, telephone, satellite TV, minibar, safe and WiFi as well as a spacious balcony with a wonderful view.

Feel-good half board: rich breakfast buffet with cereal corner, tea bar and espresso coffee or late riser breakfast in the room until 12 noon, afternoon snack with savory dishes and homemade cakes or strudel at the hotel bar, varied 4-course menus in the evening with salad buffet and themed starter and dessert buffet. Daily cheese buffet with local cheeses. Champagne breakfast with salmon on Sundays. Evening buffet on Fridays. Candlelight dinner on Saturdays.
On request and with advance reservation, our own whole-food menus or vegetarian, gluten- and lactose-free dishes can also be prepared.
