Winter fun
The Gastein Valley offers you four ski areas with more than 220km of groomed ski slopes of all levels of difficulty. Each individual ski area has its own characteristics and offers all facets and possibilities, from easy to demanding and high alpine.
From Sunday to Friday, the private hotel ski shuttle takes you to the Schlossalmbahn-Stubnerkogel ski area in just 8 minutes in the morning and picks you up again in the afternoon (exact times according to the local timetable). The entrance to the next cross-country ski trail is approx. 5km away. Well-maintained winter hiking trails lead directly past the hotel. Ski pass service is offered at reception.
If you feel like experiencing the lonely landscape in silence, strap on your snowshoes or go on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride. Funny toboggan rides ensure fun for young and old.
