The Hotel Palace is located in the charming center of Bad Hofgastein, surrounded by a large hotel garden. The Alpentherme is within walking distance. The famous Gastein healing tunnel is approx. 12km away from the hotel.

The 198 comfortable rooms feature a bathroom with bathtub or shower/WC, hairdryer, complimentary bathrobe, telephone, radio, cable TV, safe, minibar upon request, and Wi-Fi. Each room also offers a balcony with breathtaking views of the Gastein mountains.
DS (2-2): Economy Double Room, approx. 18 m², cozy room with a queen-size bed (160 x 200 cm) and bathroom with shower.
DK (2-4): Comfort Double Room, approx. 26 m², double bed or two single beds, plus 1-2 extra beds.
EK (1-1): Comfort Single Room, approx. 18 m².

Meals

Half board: varied breakfast buffet, a piece of cake with every coffee or drink from 3:00 pm to 4:30 pm, and a buffet in the evening featuring regional and seasonal delicacies or a themed buffet. Christmas dinner is included.
Table drinks with dinner (beer, wine, soft drinks) can be booked as a package on-site upon request.

Activities

Fitness room with a variety of equipment, aqua aerobics from Monday to Friday (see posted schedule), live music and dancing several times a week at the hotel bar, guided activity program throughout the Gastein Valley (some activities may incur a small fee) – organized by the tourism association.

Winter fun

The Gastein Valley offers skiers of all levels, from beginners to advanced, four diverse ski areas with a wide variety of blue, red, and black runs, totaling over 200 km. These belong to the Ski amadé network, one of Europe's largest winter sports regions. The Schlossalm-Angertal-Stubnerkogel ski area is the largest interconnected ski area in the Gastein Valley and is ideal for families. Here you'll find not only slopes for all skill levels but also a large practice area for beginners.
The free ski bus runs according to schedule, conveniently taking you to the Schlossalm cable car with direct access to the Gastein ski area. A ski bus stop and the entrance to the nearest cross-country ski trail are located right next to the hotel. A ski rental shop is also available on-site (online reservations possible).
Over 100 km of groomed winter hiking trails await those who prefer to experience the winter wonderland on foot. For a more exhilarating experience, try the groomed toboggan runs. Cross-country skiing enthusiasts will find a variety of routes on a total of 45km of groomed trails. When snow conditions are right, a (night) trail runs right past the hotel. Snowshoeing, ski touring, spectacular ice climbing opportunities, ice skating, and curling offer numerous other options for an active winter holiday.

The spacious panoramic indoor pool (12x8m) and the elegant wellness oasis – both accessible via barrier-free access – with a hot tub, Finnish log sauna, herbal sauna, steam room, salt grotto, Kneipp circuit, heated loungers, experience showers, and relaxation area guarantee relaxation and well-being.
For a fee: massages, wellness and health department with, among other things, thermal baths and mud treatments.
The Gastein thermal water, the world's only Gastein healing gallery, and the Gastein steam bath offer the best natural conditions in and around the Hotel Palace for remarkable healing successes and preventative care. External medical supervision is available to tailor therapies and treatments to individual health needs and achieve maximum therapeutic results.
