Bad Aussee can be reached after approx. 5 km, Hallstatt and Bad Ischl can be reached in 30 to 40 minutes by car.
A summer at Grundlsee has everything in store for you that your heart desires. Take a dip or rent a boat to see the scenery from the water. Wonderful hiking, cycling and mountain biking trails are in the immediate vicinity. Tennis, horseback riding, golf, paragliding and archery are other highlights of an unforgettable summer.
Facilities
The active resort in a fantastic location awaits you with 8 apartment buildings including a main building with reception. In terms of culinary delights, you can choose between two à la carte restaurants: The Gasthaus Seeblick with its large sun terrace stands for classics from Austrian cuisine prepared according to traditional recipes and mainly with regional products. In the gourmet restaurant WASSERMANN (open from Thursday to Saturday evenings) you can enjoy fine fish creations that come exclusively from Austrian waters, as well as selected gourmet dishes that will also delight non-fish lovers. Discover this unique setting, in which your dinner with a fine lake view, excellent service and inspiring (fish) cuisine becomes a real fine dining experience. The culinary offer is rounded off with finely coordinated wines from the well-stocked wine list.

Apartments
Comfortable studios and apartments, spread over several houses, with a wonderful view over the Grundlsee or the fantastic mountains await you in a unique atmosphere. All 120 residential units are tastefully furnished with lots of wood in the typical Bad Aussee style and have a bathroom with bathtub or shower/toilet, hairdryer, kitchenette with refrigerator, comfortable seating area with dining table, telephone, flat-screen satellite TV, safe and WiFi, and most have a balcony or terrace. Bathrobes and slippers are available at reception.
