The cozy Vitalhotel is located on the outskirts of the lovely mountain village of Gosau, at the foot of the Dachstein, in the beautiful Salzkammergut. The center with shopping and entertainment facilities can be reached after approx. 400m.

The hotel welcomes you in a sporty, informal atmosphere with a lobby area with reception and safe, lounges and a cozy bar. Enjoy regional delicacies and excellent Austrian wines in the various restaurant areas of the hotel and in the winter garden with a wonderful view of the mountains. A separate restaurant area is available for families. Event rooms for up to 280 people, a ski room, lift and free parking complete the hotel offer. You can use Wi-Fi in the whole hotel for free. Payable on site: dog EUR 18,- per night. Local tax EUR 3,- per person/night from the age of 15.

The 91 spacious and bright rooms, equipped with a bathroom with toilet, hairdryer, bathrobe and sauna towels, telephone, radio, flat-screen TV, safe, mini fridge and WiFi as well as a comfortable seating area, will help you find peace and relaxation after an exciting day in the Salzkammergut. Enjoy the view of the picturesque village of Gosau and the mountains surrounding the hotel.

Half board: cold and warm breakfast buffet with healthy corner, evening buffet with occasional theme evenings. Christmas and New Year's Eve menu included.

Winter fun
With 140 perfectly groomed kilometers of pistes for every skill level, the Dachstein West ski region offers the best conditions for leisurely turns and adventurous descents. A ski school and a ski kindergarten await beginners and children. Freeriders and snowboarders get their money's worth in the Freesport Arena Krippenstein with 30km of off-piste and a fun park.
The valley station of the Dachstein West ski region is approx. 2km away from the Vitalhotel Gosau. The free ski bus, which stops right in front of the hotel, takes you to the Hornspitzbahn, the direct access to the ski area, and back again after an action-packed day on the slopes. There is also a ski rental where you can rent your equipment.
The entrance to the Gosautal cross-country skiing paradise is right in front of the hotel. In addition to 50km of cross-country ski trails for beginners and professionals, the route network includes 15km of skating trails and a practice trail. Explore the region on a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride or on a snowshoe or winter hike. The 1.8km long toboggan run in Gosau inspires young and old. There are no limits to winter fun here.
