Location
In the middle of the family-friendly Fageralm ski and hiking area, next to the FOR-SBG hut, with a wonderful view of the Dachstein panorama. The Fageralm ski area is a member of ski amadé (one ski pass for over 760km of slopes and 270 cable cars and lifts). The Fageralm is connected to the other ski areas by a free ski bus. Directly in Forstau, on the Fageralm you will find 7 lifts with 15km of slopes.
Distances
The hut is located directly on the ski slope and in the alpine pasture and hiking area. In winter, access by ski lift (chair and drag lift) and descent to the hut or footpath from the chair lift 1.5km. Luggage transport (passenger transport possible on request) by landlord with Skidoo. Tobogganing possible from the hut, serviced hut 150m. In summer, accessible by car, ideal starting point for hikes in the surrounding mountains. Shopping, horse riding, tennis, golf, horse-drawn sleigh rides, etc. in the valley near the towns of Forstau and Radstadt, 10 - 14 km away. Fish pond 6 km away.

First floor: 2 four-bed rooms (double bed and pull-out couch), 1 shower, 1 toilet. In the basement you will find your own sauna (token operation, EUR 5.00/30 min.), shower, toilet. Double room (on site EUR 12.00 /person/night). Oil central heating. WiFi available. In front of the hut there is a sunny seating area, grill and a wonderful view!
