Location

Surrounded by the imposing three-thousanders of the high-alpine region of the Hohe Tauern, the historic estate with its rustic chalets and alpine huts is located in the sun-drenched Carinthian Mölltal with a mild climate. All around only fairytale larch and fir forests, green meadows and fields and the idyllic mountain river Möll. Fascinating nature experiences, the peak of the Großglockner covered in white sugar, the whistle of the marmots, the murmur of the waterfalls and regional cuisine are the main ingredients of a perfect holiday in the Hohe Tauern National Park region between the Großglockner and the Dolomites.
Due to the fantastic location and landscape, the estate offers numerous outdoor experiences for active holidaymakers and nature lovers - from biking to climbing, horseback riding and hiking to skiing.

Distances

The Alpe-Adria-Trail, which stretches in 43 stages from the Großglockner to Muggia near Trieste, leads directly past the Landhof. The "wild waters" of the Mölltal offer unforgettable holiday experiences for everyone who is looking for adventure in rafting, kayaking or canyoning. The famous Carinthian lakes are easily accessible within 20 to 60 minutes by car.
Skiing fun from autumn to early summer - the Mölltal Glacier at 3,000m makes it possible. Just 20 minutes by car from the Landhof, 17 pistes of various levels of difficulty, a grandiose summit panorama and pure sunshine await you. A popular free-riding meeting point is the Ankogel ski area in nearby Mallnitz. The Goldeck sports mountain near Spittal, a 20-minute drive away, offers the longest black descent in the Alps, as well as routes at every other level. In winter, there are also 25 km of high-altitude trails near the estate through the idyllic Seebach and Tauern valleys.

Facilities

"Living in the rhythm of nature" - the farm, which has been run by the 13th generation, has long since become a traditional holiday farm where the concept of sustainability is lived. You can choose between holiday apartments in a beautiful manor house, charming premium chalets in the chalet village directly on the white water river or a lonely mountain chalet in a dreamlike location. The chalets and their furniture are made from the owner's own wood.

Apartments

The Zirbensuite (1-4 people, 30m²) and Gutshofsuite (1-5 people, 120m²) are located on the farm in the beautiful manor house. The village suite (1-4 people, 70m²) is located in the chalet village above the Badehäusl. Each holiday apartment has 1-2 bedrooms or (living) bedrooms, kitchenette or fully equipped eat-in kitchen, TV, bathroom with shower and toilet and furnished balcony or terrace.
The 400-hectare estate offers the best conditions for a chalet holiday in sunny Carinthia. The centerpiece is the manor with reception, bar in the winter garden, sun terrace and the cozy dining rooms. Here you can treat yourself to a healthy organic breakfast buffet (you can choose a breakfast basket for the chalet), coffee and cake in the afternoon and a 4-course dinner three times a week. A special highlight in summer is the barbecue evening. The Badehäusl with saunas, infrared cabin, hot tub and panoramic relaxation area with fireplace and tea and fruit bar as well as the natural bathing pond in summer ensure relaxation. A wild water beach, two farm-owned fish ponds, a lively organic farm with a play barn, a children's vehicle fleet with go-karts and bicycles, a petting zoo and a riding stable also await you. At the estate, as a guest, you are part of the whole. You are not only allowed to go on holiday, you can also take part in baking bread, building a pine bed, feeding the animals or observing wild animals. Free parking spaces and charging facilities for electric cars (for a fee) available.
Electricity, water, heating, daily towel change on request, weekly bed linen change, own WiFi per chalet/apartment and National Park Kärnten Card included from April to October.
