The Narzissendorf Zloam is just a 10-minute walk from Lake Grundlsee in the midst of the wonderful landscape of the Ausseerland in the Styrian Salzkammergut. At the foot of the Ausseer mountains, the car-free holiday village nestles between the blue sky and the green meadows and invites you to a "summer like it used to be". Hardly anywhere else are customs and folk culture so deeply rooted in everyday life as in the Aussee region. A colorful series of events that is fun for all generations leads through all seasons. It is about 8km to the Narzissenbad in Bad Aussee. The Grimming Therme in Bad Mitterndorf is about 15km away.
Lasting experiences are guaranteed by the year-round extensive range of leisure activities in the Narzissendorf. In winter you can go skiing and snowboarding or tobogganing, curling and ice skating right from the front door. In the summer months, hikes and bike tours, horseback riding, tennis, archery and much more are on the agenda. A dip in the village natural bathing pond or in the Grundlsee provides cooling off.
Facilities
The 34 houses, built with loving attention to detail, true to the original and of high quality, form the heart of the author-free narcissus village of Zloam. Typical Ausseer cuisine, down to earth and with the best local ingredients, is offered in the village's inn, the "Zloam Wirt", with a terrace by the pond and a view of the playground. Great breakfast offers, delicious cakes and Austrian pastries can be enjoyed in the Wiesencafe. At the end of the day, people meet in the Kobinger Bar (opening times according to notice) in the Klangwerkstatt Zloam with the Kölblsaal (up to 200 people), the Kreutzsaal and the music classrooms. Furthermore, the holiday village has the estate, in which the reception and the wood and creative workshop are located. The village natural bathing pond invites you to relax in the summer months. Meanwhile, big and small adventurers go on a treasure hunt in Austria's first treasure hunter's forest with professional metal probes. Free WiFi is available in all areas. Parking spaces (partially covered) are available free of charge on the outskirts of the village.
Payable on site: Dog (max. 2 dogs per house or 1 dog per studio): EUR 25 per night incl. bowl and blanket. Additional cleaning. In the summer you can order a breakfast box or in the winter you can book breakfast and dinner with a 3-course menu in the Wirtshaus Zloam. Local tax: EUR 3.50 per person/night from the age of 15.
Chalets
The holiday homes, built in the typical Ausseer style, are spread over the village parts Fischerwiese, Eibenwald and Musikantenwald. Each house is a small work of art in itself, reflecting high-quality Ausseer craftsmanship, regional culture and the beauty of nature. The houses and apartments of different sizes are equipped with a bathroom with bath and/or shower, toilet, hair dryer, comfortable bedroom, a spacious living area with dining area, fully equipped kitchen or kitchenette with stovetop, oven, refrigerator, coffee machine and kettle, washing machine/ Dryer, flat screen TV, safe and WiFi as well as balcony and/or terrace. Most houses have a fireplace and/or a sauna for cozy warmth in every season.
OB (2-3): Studio Tuba, approx. 36m², double bed and sofa bed, kitchenette with dining area, sauna, terrace or balcony.
AE (3-6): Apartment Kontrabass, approx. 60m², 1 bedroom with double bed and 1 cabinet with pull-out single or double bed, eat-in kitchen with sofa, dining area in the light-flooded Aussee veranda, sauna, terrace or balcony.
XF (4-7): Holiday home Toplitzsee on 2 floors, approx. 94m², 1 bedroom with double bed, 1 bedroom with 160cm double bed plus bunk bed, living room with pull-out sofa, 2 toilets, kitchen, dining area in the Ausseer porch, sauna, mostly fireplace , terrace or balcony.
XG (4-8): Holiday home Grundlsee on 2 floors, approx. 117m², 1 bedroom on the ground floor with bathroom and terrace, 1 bedroom on the upper floor with balcony, a children's room with bunk beds, a second large wellness bathroom on the upper floor with sauna, 2 WCs, eat-in kitchen with pull-out sofa, dining area in the large Aussee veranda and fireplace.
XI (6-10): Gößl holiday home, approx. 151m², consisting of two units combined via a corridor, the Toplitzsee holiday home and the small, rustic Troatkostn hut with kitchen, living area and pull-out sofa on the ground floor and a bedroom, bathroom and balcony on the upper floor .
XH (6-9): Holiday home Salzkammergut plus, approx. 181m², consisting of a Grundlsee plus holiday home and the small Troatkasten hut with kitchen, living area and pull-out sofa on the ground floor and a bedroom, bathroom and balcony on the upper floor. In the house Grundlsee plus there are 2 bedrooms, each with a bathroom on the upper floor, an extremely spacious, open living area on the ground floor with a pull-out sofa, comfortable armchairs, fireplace, fully equipped kitchen and dining area in the large veranda, 2 toilets, terraces and balconies as well as a Sauna house connected to the house.
Final cleaning, electricity, water and heating as well as initial linen included.
Activities
Varied weekly program as posted with guided hikes, yoga and Pilates and more.
For a fee: 2 outdoor tennis courts, archery on the 3D archery course, 4D archery cinema and inline skating in the leisure hall, rifle shooting, rental of e-mountain bikes, rental of sports equipment such as tennis rackets, ice skates and toboggans, riding facility with riding lessons, curling and ice skating in the ice rink or at the natural ice rink.
Winter fun
The Zloam ski area is right on the doorstep. If there is enough snow, 4 downhill runs, a 550m long drag lift, a free rope lift for the little ones, a natural toboggan run and lots of open terrain with deep snow invite you to winter fun. Night skiing is offered every Tuesday and Friday until 8 p.m. The family ski resort Loser in Altaussee, which is only 19 km away and offers guaranteed snow, provides variety with 34 kilometers of excellently groomed slopes, wide slopes, modern cable cars and a fun park. The nearest trail is in Gößl, about 8km away.

The narcissus village of Zloam is a wonderful place for your holiday with your dog. The combination of a holiday home, great leisure opportunities, fun and nature is just perfect. Whether in summer on extensive hiking trails or in winter with snowshoes through snow-covered landscapes with panoramic views, the Zloam offers many opportunities for a holiday together. Countless opportunities for walks can be found right outside the front door. There is a dog treat and a free doggie bag as a welcome. Dog blanket, food and water bowl are also provided. You can also buy dog food from The Goodstuff in the village shop in reception.
