Winter fun
The Pitztal ski areas are the perfect mix of first-class slopes and overwhelming natural beauty beyond mass tourism. The main areas with a total of over 98 kilometers of slopes are the Pitztal Glacier and the Rifflsee and Hochzeiger ski areas. On the Pitztal Glacier you can choose from a total of 40 kilometers of immaculate slopes - from around mid-September to the beginning of May. Whether skiing or boarding, touring or showing off your skills in the X Park: the high alpine ski area promises the best conditions for varied fun on the slopes. The Pitztal Glacier and the Rifflsee ski area are connected via the valley run - together they form a spacious and scenically diverse area of 68 kilometers of slopes.
The Chalet Village - Pitztal is located in the direct area of the ski lift and the ski slopes, just a 6-minute walk from the Glacier Express to the Pitztal Glacier and 700m from the Rifflsee ski area.
You can also experience nature at its best away from the slopes in the Pitztal. Leave everyday life behind you on ski tours, winter hikes with or without snowshoes or cross-country skiing on the perfectly groomed valley trail, on the Pitztal Glacier, in the Rifflsee area or in the impressive Kaunergrat Nature Park. Ice skating and curling are other popular activities. Tobogganing on one of the numerous toboggan runs or a romantic horse-drawn sleigh ride round off a winter holiday in the Pitztal.
Additional Costs
Obligatory surcharges on site: local tax EUR 3,- per person/night from the age of 15.
Wellness
After an active day in the mountains, the wellness area with heated indoor pool and sauna area (from 16 years) with Finnish sauna, steam bath, infrared sauna, experience showers and relaxation room invites you to relax.
