Location
The holiday village Holzleb'n is in a quiet and sunny location, in the middle of the holiday paradise Großarltal, surrounded by meadows and forests.The area around the Holzleb'n Chalets holiday village is an ancient cultural and natural landscape. For centuries, animals from the Salzburg mountain farmers have found the loveliest alpine meadows for their summer retreats. There are more than 40 pastures here, which has given the Großartltal the nickname "Valley of 40 pastures". In the warm months, this can be wonderfully explored with hiking boots or by bike.
Distances
The center of Grossarl is about 1km away. Cycling and walking paths lead right past the holiday village.
Facilities
Feriendorf Holzleb'n does not bear its name without reason: wood is the defining element in the chalets and holiday apartments: from the roof shingles made of weatherproof larch wood to the soothing stone pine beds to the spruce table, which in its previous life was a stable door. The 7 cozy holiday apartments in the main building offer a living space of 20-55m², 1-2 bedrooms, a cozy living-dining area with TV and some with a pull-out couch, a fully equipped natural wood kitchen, a bathroom with toilet and hairdryer, some with a balcony or terrace as well free use of the wellness area with sauna, steam bath and infrared lounger. In addition to varied farm holidays, the car-free facility has a children's playroom, a large adventure playground with a giant trampoline, a soccer field, Woodies World with a forest educational trail, forest playground with a tree house and barefoot pond, a petting zoo with goats and rabbits, a pony and horse farm with a riding arena, a fleet of go-karts and mini tractors and a barbecue area. The farmhouse parlor in the main building offers a wide range of options for feasting: from mountain breakfasts to pizza for the kids, local pan-fried dishes, hearty farmer's snacks, to barbecue and fondue evenings. A parking lot with a charging station for electric cars is located on the outskirts of the village. Electricity, water, heating, wood for the stove, WiFi, bed linen and towels inclusive. 4 e-charging stations are available.
Other inclusive services: Childcare in July and August, 1 x weekly sleeping in the hay for children, 1 x weekly campfire with sausage/bread grilling for children, horseback riding several times a week for children, helping to feed the animals, guided hikes, bike and toboggan rental , free entry to the outdoor pool in Grossarl (summer).

The chalets are a successful mix of rustic alpine hut and ultra-modern holiday home. Each chalet has several bedrooms, a spacious living and dining area with fireplace and flat screen TV, fully equipped solid wood kitchen (electric stove with oven, dishwasher, microwave, toaster, refrigerator, kettle, coffee machine and all kitchen utensils), bathroom with Toilet, hairdryer and bathrobe for hire, a children's play area, a wellness area with sauna/steam bath and relaxation room, as well as a private, fenced-in garden with an outdoor bathtub.
Chalet Edelweiß-Alm for 2-7 people (110m²): 1 bedroom for 3 people (double and single bed), 1 bedroom for 4 people (double and bunk bed), 2 bathrooms.
Chalet Lärchenalm for 2-8 people (96m²): 2 bedrooms for 3 people (double bed and bunk bed), 1 double bedroom, 1 bathroom.
Chalet Jaga hut for 2-9 people (135m², barrier-free): 1 bedroom for 3 people (double and single bed), 1 bedroom for 4 people (double and bunk bed), 1 double bedroom, 3 bathrooms.

Winter fun
In front of the village there is a winter adventure meadow with a free children's practice lift, the ideal slope for tobogganing, practice skiing and romping around in the snow. The Grossarl mountain railways are only 400m away and easily accessible by bike, on foot or on skis in winter. In winter, Grossarl with its ski link in the neighboring Gastein Valley is the ideal place for an adventurous skiing holiday. The Grossarltal-Dorfgastein ski area is the gateway to Austria's largest ski region, Ski amadé, with 760 kilometers of slopes and 270 modern lifts. In winter there is a heated ski depot with a ski boot dryer in the "ski hut".

Holiday with your Dog
Dogs have it good here! Endless walks and many opportunities to go for a walk start right outside the front door. All chalets have their own fenced garden so that your darling can let off steam in the garden while throwing sticks. Food and water bowls are also available. Dog sitting is offered on request. Each chalet can accommodate up to 3 dogs, in the holiday apartments up to 2 dogs are allowed.
