Activities
Hiking and mountain bike tours start right outside the front door. Since you are already at around 1,200 m above sea level, summit tours and alpine huts are within easy reach. The main attractions are the small alpine towns of St. Johann or Wagrain with bars, restaurants and boutiques. In about 1 hour drive you are in the famous Mozart city of Salzburg. You should definitely plan enjoyment & culture.
Winter fun
Down from the Almhaus into the valley and up to the perfectly groomed slopes of Snow Space Salzburg. Recently, the ski area has been connected to the neighboring regions of Shuttleberg Flachauwinkel-Kleinarl and the ski area Zauchensee-Flauchwinkel. That means for you: 12 peaks, 5 valleys and a total of 210 kilometers of pistes in the heart of Ski amadé!
Tip: The legendary Liechtenstein Gorge is mystical and fantastic. A true natural spectacle that you should not miss. Another thing: the children love the Geisterberg. 40 adventure stations at 1,800 m promise pure adventure!
