Location
The cottage is located at the Gosau Hintertal (valley), amidst a huge meadwow with 2 fish ponds, opposite the artificial lake and next to the open-air exhibition.
Distances
Gosau 4km, cable car skiing region of Dachstein-West with 164km of pistes only 250m away! Ski school 4km. 30km cross-country ski run and a winter hiking trail are nearby. Toboggan run in 1km. The artificial lake on the opposite of the cottage is perfect for fishing (fishing licence required). Open-air exhibition and "primeval times forest" amusement park are next to the cottage. Lake Gosau 2km. Inn 300m. This area is also perfect for persons who love ski touring or mountain biking.
Facilities
The cabin was renovated affectionately. Ground floor: snuggery with lounge, tiled stove, kitchenette with electric cooker (2 plates), fridge, water boiler, coffee machine, satellite TV. Double room. Shower/toilet. The upper floor is accessible via a narrow wooden stairway. Here, underneath the roof are 2 bedrooms (left and right). Basement floor: shower/toilet, cellar vault with sauna. Heating with tiled stoves, continuous-flow water heater. In front of the hut is a sunny seats, a barbecue and a well. Bed linen and towels are available.
