Location
Sunny, secluded mountain location. Toll road (an ascent costs EUR 6.00). It is an unpaved mountain road (gravel road) - good to drive on, but the car should not be lowered!

4-room hut, approx. 100 m², ground floor: living room with seating area, sofa (sleeps 1 to 2 people), small bar, flat screen TV and wood-burning stove, kitchen with oven, 4-plate ceramic hob, fridge with freezer compartment, sink , dishwasher, capsule coffee machine (Senseo), kettle, egg cooker, bedroom with double bed, bedroom with bunk bed and single bed, bathroom with shower, sink and toilet. Dormitory: Dormitory in the attic with 4 mattresses (Caution: Absolute surefootedness is required - the sleeping quarters can be reached via a ladder).
Adjacent stable building, fenced property (electric fence), large, furnished sun terrace, parasol, sun loungers, wood storage (a firewood flat rate of € 20 per week is collected on site), fenced parking lot for up to 5 cars, small playground, please bring slippers!
Activities
It's best to start your hiking and biking days directly from the hut door. For example, you can celebrate your summit victory at the Brennkopf summit cross within 30 minutes! Be sure to visit the managed Wandberghütte - a family-friendly hike over 1 hour. Here you will be spoiled all around - both culinary and with an unforgettable panorama.
After returning home to your hut, a barbecue in the evening hours is the perfect way to end the day. Sausages and marshmallows are grilled on a stick in the fire bowl, the kids romp around in the hut playground.
If you head down into the valley, you are only 7 kilometers from the popular bathing lake Walchsee. Crystal clear and up to 24 degrees water temperature with water trampoline and adventure playground, it provides a refreshing change in the hiking holiday.
Tip: The Kaiserwinkl card is included! This means that many offers are discounted or even free of charge.
