Between the 4 communities of Bad Goisern am Hallstättersee, Gosau am Dachstein, Hallstatt and Obertraun stretches the beautiful nature that has already inspired numerous painters and writers, a culture so old and important that it has been awarded UNESCO World Heritage status, handicraft and tradition that be carried with passion into the future and right in the middle crystal clear lakes in which the mountains are reflected.
Accommodation: Accommodation is in the 3* Landhotel Agathawirt in the heart of the Inner Salzkammergut World Heritage region. The traditional and listed property with a total of 58 beds offers a reception, an à la carte restaurant with 2 rooms, a free Internet surfing station, a cozy guest garden and a bar with a winter garden. The spacious rooms (approx. 22-29m²) are equipped with a bathroom with bath or shower/toilet, hair dryer, telephone, radio, satellite TV, minibar, safe and WiFi, as well as some with a seating area and balcony. The center with shops is about 3km away. The hotel is an ideal starting point for hikes and walks. The hotel has its own parking spaces and 2 charging stations for electric cars (for a fee).

Day 1:
Individual arrival in Bad Goisern. Handover of the documents at the accommodation. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern
Day 2:
Bike tour: Lake Hallstatt
Bad Goisern - Obertraun - Hallstatt - Bad Goisern, approx. 30 km, altitude gain/descent: 357/357 m.
Cycle from Bad Goisern to Steeg and along the eastern shore path of Lake Hallstatt to Obertraun. Here you can visit the Dachstein Ice or Mammoth Caves. Follow the cycle path to Hallstatt and explore this enchanting place. Continue along the lake to Bad Goisern. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern.
Day 3:
Canoe trip on Lake Hallstatt, approx. 3 hours.
The Salzkammergut lakes are predestined for a boat trip. After a brief introduction, explore the tranquil lake and beautiful shoreline by canoe with a guide. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern.
Day 4:
Climbing course for beginners in the Bad Ischl climbing hall, approx. 3 hours, for children approx. 2 hours - depending on condition and stamina. Playful introduction to the world of sport climbing. Supervision is provided by a professionally trained trainer. The Bad Ischl climbing hall offers almost 800m² of climbing fun for every skill level. After a successful climb in the Bad Ischl climbing hall, the adjoining sports bistro invites you to relax and have a cozy get-together. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern.
Day 5:
OPTIONAL: Hike with overnight stay in a hut or individually designed day.
Hike to the Goisererhütte, approx. 6 km, 4 hours, difference in altitude ascent/descent: 1083 / 10 m. Ascent via the Trockentannalm to the Goisererhütte at the foot of the summit of the Hoher Kalmberg. Not far from the hut is the "Kalmooskirche", a rock cave steeped in history. Overnight stay at the Goisererhütte. (Bring your own luggage and sleeping bag for the night at the Goisererhütte!)

Excursion to Gosau where the following highlights await you: circular hike around the Gosausee, hike with the cable car on the Zwieselalm, family adventure park primeval forest in Gosau.
Bad Goisern: hiking on the Traunreiterweg (ideal family walking path), figure and legend path (exciting excursion with a fantastic view over the valley), TIP: archery in the 3D course and much more.

Day 6:
With an overnight stay in a hut, descent back to Bad Goisern. A trip to the imperial city of Bad Ischl or to Lake Wolfgang would be particularly worthwhile today. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern.

Cave tour in the Koppenbrüller Cave, approx. 1.5 hours.
The Northern Limestone Alps are known for their extensive cave systems. Today you explore the Koppenbrüller Cave in Obertraun. The water-bearing Koppenbrüller Cave is located in the valley and can be reached by a short walk on a well-paved hiking trail along the enchanting Koppentraun. During the one-hour tour of the cave, you will get an insight into the formation of the cave and the underground waterways of the interior of the Dachstein. Overnight stay in Bad Goisern
