Dancing week in Tyrol

The golden years begin when the children leave the nest. Career and family were the major goals in the first half of life. Now, in midlife, there is more time for each other. High-quality trips, new hobbies, promote hidden feelings of happiness. Dance trips are for couples with these expectations. This creates a nice group dynamic, which inspires well-being during courses and dance evenings. Your holiday destination is the Achensee; this is on the border with Bavaria, embedded in the breathtaking mountain landscape of the Karwendel and Rofan mountains. The varied combination of mountains and lake make the region so popular.

Can be booked for an additional charge: Deluxe double room: plus EUR 98 per person.

Arrive on your own, can be booked with a train ride to Innsbruck or Jenbach including a transfer from the train station to the hotel.


Possibility to take part in the dance course*

Arrival on Sunday, meeting point at 5:45 p.m., welcome and tour of the dance hall, after dinner a first course session with all guests of the dance week.

Course groups – Monday to Saturday:

♦ Beginners group: MO. to FRI. 3:00 p.m. - 4:30 p.m., Saturday. 10:00-11:00 a.m

♦ Group Bronze: MO. to FRI. 10:30 a.m. - 12:00 p.m., Saturday. 10:00-11:00 a.m

♦ Group Silver: MO. to FRI. 4:30 p.m. - 6:00 p.m., Saturday. 11:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m

♦ Group Gold: MO. to FRI. 9:00 a.m. - 10:30 a.m., Saturday. 9:00 a.m. - 10:00 a.m

Dances in the Beginner & Bronze course group: Slow Waltz, Viennese Waltz, Foxtrot/Quickstep, Rumba and ChaChaCha.

Additional dances in silver and gold: tango, jive and samba.

Dance evenings: Monday to Friday there are dance evenings from 8:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. (after dinner, for all course groups together). Dance evenings with support if you have questions about what you have learned.

* Registration and payment for the dance course on site directly with the dance teacher. Course fee EUR 180,- per person.

Dress code: Comfortable casual clothing for courses and dance evenings.
Evening wear for the final dance evening on Friday.
