After the great success of CATS, the Vereinigte Bühnen Wien are bringing one of the most famous musicals of all time back to Vienna. Artistic director Christian Struppeck is bringing Cameron Mackintosh's spectacular new production of Andrew Lloyd Webber's THE PHANTOM OF THE OPERA, which has never been seen in German-speaking countries, to the Raimund Theater. The brand new production impresses with many spectacular special effects - including the legendary chandelier - and the breathtakingly romantic music with a large ensemble. The exciting and mysterious story about the Phantom, who lives in the eerie catacombs of the Paris Opera, is accompanied by the VBW Orchestra, of course also with a large cast.
