Dachstein Circular Trail

This hike impresses with its variety - the lush alpine meadows and the pink blooming alpine rose slopes contrast with the mountain peaks of the Gosaukamm.
 
Accommodation: Accommodation is in 3* inns/hotels in comfortably furnished rooms with bath or shower/toilet, TV and mostly internet/WLAN. 2 x overnight stays in huts in shared rooms with bunk beds or mattress camps and shared showers/toilets. You have to bring your own sleeping bag, pillowcase and towel in the huts. Due to their location, not all cabins can offer running water, hot water or showers. Sometimes there is no flushing water in the toilets. Payable on site: local tax. The tours are subject to weather conditions.

Tour Description
Day 1:
Individual arrival in Gosau.
Individually designed hike possible on the Panoramaweg, which offers a wonderful first view over the landscape of the Gosau valley.
Optional: approx.: 11 km (several entries and exits) Overnight stay in Gosau
Day 2:
From Gosau Mittertal to the Gablonzerhütte.
As an introduction, you hike from your accommodation in Gosau on the Herrenweg over the Kalvarienberg to the Zwieselalm where the Gablonzerhütte is located.
approx. 9 km, 4.5 hours, difference in altitude ascent/descent: 890 / 123 m
Overnight at the Gablonzerhütte.
(Luggage – sleeping bag for the night at the Gablonzerhütte has to be taken with you during the hike)
Day 3:
Hike to the Goisererhütte.
In the morning, after a short hike, take the cable car down to the valley; Bus transfer to the Gosau Vordertal car park. Ascent to the Goisererhütte with a variant to the Hohen Kalmberg.

Overnight stay at the Goisererhütte.
(Luggage – sleeping bag for the night at the Goisererhütte must be taken with you during the hike)
Day 4:
Descent and departure.
After breakfast individual descent via the Iglmoosalm to Gosau.
approx. 7 km, 2-3 hours, difference in altitude ascent/descent: 46 / 873 m
Your luggage is waiting for you at the hotel in Gosau where you spent the first night. Individual departure.

 
General information
The hikes do not have any technical difficulties and are also suitable for beginners, provided they are in good physical condition. Your hiking equipment should include: sturdy shoes, backpack, sun and rain protection, functional clothing.
