Description
In order to look as far ahead as possible, you need a telescope. But in order to decide in which direction you want to navigate, you need a compass. The Ars Electronica Center (AEC) has therefore made “Navigating the Future” its motto.
In the "Museum of the Future" topics of the future are the exhibitions of today. The striking building, which is located directly on the Danube in Urfahr, houses impressive exhibitions on the topics of art, technology and society. In the Ars Electronica Center you can not only look at exhibits, but also watch artificial intelligence “thinking”, train self-driving cars, program robots, 3D print or edit your own DNA with genetic scissors.
The Ars Electronica Center is considered the center of the UNESCO City of Media Arts - with its annual festival in September and the renowned Prix Ars Electronica.
Daily (except Monday) from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m
Entrance per person: EUR 13,–
Children 6-19 years: EUR 11,–
Code: OBLZXAE EIN
