In the heart of Vienna, at the very place where Wolfgang Amadeus Mozart composed some of his most important works such as the “Magic Flute” and the “Requiem” and where he died in 1791, a unique multimedia Mozart Experience awaits you: MYTH MOZART.
Immerse yourself in Mozart's world with all your senses: In five different scenes you will get to know his music, his time and many still unknown stories from his life, and experience it with all your senses! MYTH MOZART extends over 1,500m² and offers a visually modern approach to the genius of Mozart - a new world of experience in a very special place.
MYTH MOZART begins with the REQUIEM, a mysterious room with 1,500 candles by the British-German lighting designer Moritz Waldemeyer. Then stroll through lively streets in VIENNA 1791 - MOZART CITY, climb over the roofs in a balloon and finally find yourself in front of Mozart's death house - in a diversely animated 360° panorama of historical views.
In WORLD MUSIC - MOZART'S LITTLE NIGHT MUSIC you can play interactively with instruments from all over the world in the “Little Night Music”. In GENIUS - MOZART COMPOSED you will immerse yourself in Mozart's creative world of light and music through thousands of synapses. For the finale, the Turkish-American new media artist Refik Anadol creates his fantastic visual worlds using artificial intelligence and millions of data in MOZART FOREVER.
