Description
An unusual journey into the diversity of Viennese music.
Based on ideas by André Heller, Ursula Strauss, and Ernst Molden.
Remassuri – A fascinating, unprecedented show showcasing the diversity of Viennese music! From Schubert to Concertschrammeln to Dudler, Johann Strauss and Lehár, from Hermann Leopoldi to Viennese song classics, from Arik Brauer to Falco and contemporaries.
The name "Remassuri" – an old Viennese word for confusion or whirl – says it all. Here, tradition and the present meet in a passionate performance that Ernst Molden describes as "a deeply urbane, refined art that is constantly renewing itself."
The entire project is being realized by three friends whose artistic biographies clearly demonstrate their competence for this undertaking: André Heller, Ursula Strauss, and Ernst Molden. The program, ensembles, and soloists are carefully selected by them. The excellent musicians and singers will be supported by, among others, the legendary mime group "Mummenschanz" and virtuoso shadow puppeteers.
"Please, why hasn't this been done before?"
