The Swarovski Crystal Worlds were opened in 1995 on the occasion of the company's hundredth anniversary. The multimedia artist André Heller designed a unique place of fantasy. To date, this popular sight and excursion destination in Tyrol has given more than 16 million visitors from all over the world moments of amazement. Visitors were surprised, touched, maybe even transformed by crystal in all its facets.
Big names from art, design and architecture show their very own interpretation of crystal - hypnotic, magical, unique. In this magical place you will encounter contemporary art as well as ancient history. Visit the giant and his garden and be enchanted by the beauty, inspiration and energy, the care and aesthetics.

James Turrell is considered the "Master of Light" and he created one of his famous "Shallow Space Constructions" as a new chamber of wonders especially for the Swarovski Crystal Worlds: "Umbra, 2022" - a walk-in installation of light and colors that appeals to all the senses. It is currently the only permanent installation of this type of work in the German-speaking world.
