Ambition and Illusion
In 2025, Eggenberg Palace will celebrate its 400th anniversary, and the UNESCO World Heritage site will be the centerpiece of the STEIERMARK SHOW. All museums at the site invite visitors to rediscover life and all its protagonists of the Baroque period with multimedia exhibitions. For the first time, precious international loans are returning to the palace, and newly recorded original music transforms the staterooms into an immersive experience. To bridge the gap between our present day and Baroque court life, contemporary installations in the pavilion in the palace park will reflect and reinterpret the exhibition's content. Immerse yourself in the world of the Eggenbergs and experience the rise, glory, and fall of the Eggenberg princes!
