  Portorož and Piran are located in the heart of an amazing piece of the Mediterranean on the west coast of the Istrian peninsula and in the centre of the Slovenian coast. Its neighbour, ancient Piran, is one of the most beautiful Mediterranean towns and one of the best-preserved old towns in Europe.

Built on a sea cliff, the 12-storey luxury hotel impresses with its extraordinary architecture and its unique views of the endless blue of the sea.   In the hotel restaurant you can indulge in the refined flavours of authentic Istrian cuisine as part of the half-board package. The à la carte Sunset Restaurant on the 10th floor of the hotel is known for its excellent Mediterranean cuisine and its large selection of fine wines. The Grand Café and the beautiful covered terrace are perfect for relaxing in bright sunshine or on romantic evenings accompanied by the sounds of the piano and enjoying the wonderful view over the Bay of Piran. In summer, the Tropic Bar on the beach invites you to enjoy and linger. The well-maintained private beach (open from mid-June to mid-September, weather permitting) with beach towels, deck chairs and parasols is located directly in front of the hotel. For an additional charge, the MARINE SUMMER CLUB is available in the beach area with limited spaces and comfortable deck chairs with cushions as well as exclusive service. The congress center in the Hotel Bernardin is the largest congress center in Slovenia with 17 congress halls on three floors, modern technology and plenty of natural light.
