KUNST HAUS WIEN. Museum Hundertwasser
KUNST HAUS WIEN. Museum Hundertwasser

Description

Colorful and lushly planted: Even from afar, the KunstHausWien. Museum Hundertwasser, which recently reopened after modernization work, stands out for its innovative and artistic design. It is the only building in Vienna designed by Friedensreich Hundertwasser that can be viewed from the inside 365 days a year. The newly installed permanent exhibition offers an extraordinary cross-section of the visionary's work: paintings, original graphics, architectural models and evidence of his commitment to the environment. Top-class temporary exhibitions by contemporary artists make the museum a unique place that combines art and ecology.

Anne Duk Hee Jordan
makes visible living creatures that often go unnoticed - amphibians, worms or fungi. The artist's colorful sculptures, textile works, sound and multimedia installations invite you into a mysterious world full of obscure objects and creatures - the immersive show was developed especially for KunstHausWien. A sensual and humorous plea for understanding the human species as part of an ecosystem in which biodiversity is equal! At the same time, the first institutional solo exhibition by the British artist Emma Talbot in Austria can be seen.
